The Cable Factory for Special Equipment has been opened in Sofrino

On May 28th the modern high-tech manufacture- first line OOO “Cable Factory for Special Equipment”, which is in the group of companies “Special Systems and Technologies”, was opened in Sofrino (Moscow region). This project was realized with the group of companies “Special Systems and Technologies”, the Cable group ENERGO and the company SEAN with the help of  Srednerusskij Bank of Sberbank of Russia. Representatives of the portal RusCable.Ru were invited to the ceremony.

While speaking at the opening ceremony, the head of the group of companies “Special Systems and Technologies” Michael Leonidovich Strupinskij noticed that nowadays the need of simple cable conductor products in Russia has been practically satisfied, but there is some lack of domestic cables for special purposes- for the nuclear industry, for oil and gas output, for ecologically safe delivery of oil and gas and others, which our factory has been appealed to dismiss. “Our products has been delivering to thousands of clients and enterprises all over the Russian Federation. Moreover, some part of our products has been delivering to about 40 countries”, said Mr. Strupinskij.

“This cable workshop produces the most difficult cables, which meet the most modern standards”, the director of the company “Inteh”, which is in the Cable group ENERGO, Yurij Andreevich Petrov noticed in his speech.

Igor Andreevich Gorokhovskij, the head of Sofrino, said that the development of such high-tech enterprises is very important for the area and invited to remove all the manufacture to them.

The manager of the North office of Srednerusskij Bank of Sberbank of the Russian Federation Sergej Igorevich Ganiev noticed in his speech that their bank was very glad to help in release of such high-tech, science intensive and state-of-the-art production.

Aleksander Igorevich Gusev, the head of “Cable industry” sector of the Consultative Council, the head of the media holding RusCable, spoke with a word of welcome. “RusCable has been collaborating with “Cable Factory for Special Equipment” for some years and I can say for sure, that this factory is a model one in questions of quality, reliability and safe cable manufacture, which is used in such strategie fields for Russia as nuclear energetics, cosmonautics, military-industrial complex, aircraft building and others. The factory's experience should be inculcated in other similar areas”, said Mr Gusev. He also read out letters of welcome from the Ministry of industry and sale of the RF and State Duma Deputy I.D.Grachyov for a collective of “Cable Factory for Special Equipment”.

Assistant of the general director of public relations of the group of companies “Systems and Technologies” Artur Valerikovich Mirzoyan led the ceremony.

At the end of the official part of the ceremony head of the group of companies “Systems and Technologies” M.L.Strupinskij, director of the company “EnergoSet”, which is in the Cable group “ENERGO” I.R.Sungatullin and head of the company SEAN S.N.Potapov cut a red ribbon and announced the opening of the first line of the industrial complex  “The Cable Factory for Special Equipment”.

After the ceremony there was an excursion aroun “The Cable Factory for Special Equipment” for anyone who whished. An assistant of the head of the manufacturing Anatolij Petrovich Kors led the excursion and answered all the questions.

The first line of the factory has already been started and production is on a planned level- about 3000 kilometers of cable per month. This is a closed cycle production.

The factory is a building of about 3000 square meters. Modern equipment provides with quite low level of noise and practically clean production. About 150 workers work here, some of them have been learning even at the factory.

The amount of investments of the first line is 1 billion rubles. The second line is valued at 1,5 billion rubles.

The factory has come the way from empty walls to manufacturing with a full loading for less than a year- from July 2014 to today. Equipment is in main from Turkish company KABMAK, Austrian company Dunst GmbH and German company SIKORA.

Mr Kors accompanied the guests through the whole factory.

At a lay sector there are 2 machines of bunchy twisting and a machine of correct twisting. There is an opportunity to twist about 49 wires, compressed conductor is not used.

Then there was a lapping sector. Imported and Russian plasticate is used here. The main suppliers are BASF, DuPont, Bashplast and Vladimir chemical factory.

“Our production is very science intensive and the general director of the holding always chooses the   way of development. Constant modernization”, Mr Kors noticed.

Then there was a presorting sector and a competing sector. Next there was a marking sector. The factory has a plasma setting for fluoraplastic marking.

“All the lines are equipped with lazer meter of diameter and also instruments for high voltage test”, Mr. Kors said.

There are 6 extrusion lines at the factory. All the lines have electronic control, the information which attends technological process can be seen on screens. 4 hollow cable lines have marking settings.

At the end of the excursion Mr Kors showed a high voltage test sector and an armoring machine and  cable shielding sector.
