September 5 in Jakarta the second day of the exhibition devoted to the energy, manufacturing and distribution «Electric, Power & Renewable Energy Indonesia-2013" ended, in which the delegations of the Ministry of Energy, headed by the Deputy Secretary of the Minister of Energy Yuri Sentjurin.

The second day of the Russian exposition began with press briefing for the Russian delegation members, moderated by the editor of the magazine "ELECTRIC POWER. Transmission and Distribution” Ekaterina Guseva . The main point was the discussion of cooperation between Russia and Indonesia in the energy sector.

The Executive Director of the Russian Business Council for Cooperation with Indonesia Kuritsyn Michael talked how Russia is positioning itself in the international energy market and, in particular, towards the Asia-Pacific Region (APR) and outlined the main areas of cooperation between two countries, highlighting the energy as one of the most promising directions.

The Director of the Coal and peat industry of the Ministry of Energy in Russia Konstantin Alexeev reported on cooperation in the coal industry, noting that Indonesia has a wealth of technical potential of these resources, and Russia is ready to develop a closer partnership in the exchange of technology for the minerals extraction .

The head of the scientific and technological development, organization and monitoring of the R & D implementation of "Rossetti" Victor Seleznev told what developed technologies in the company might be useful to our Indonesian partners in the implementation of their ambitious plans for the electrification of the country. He also said that Russia is ready to exchange experience in the consequences of man-made disasters that will help to make the energy systems of the two countries more sustainable.

One of the priority tasks that energy system is facing is improving  its energy efficiency. The deputy director of the Department of Energy Efficiency and modernization of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Mitreykin commented on the modernization of network energy sector of the country. He pointed out the huge potential of Indonesia in the field of renewable energy, and in particular the fact that Russia is ready to promote technological renewal energy sector in Indonesia.

As soon as geothermal energy is a priority for Indonesia, the head of the Agency of gasification and infrastructure development of the Sakhalin area Tikhonkina Vera continued the theme, who informed the participants about the implementation of technologies for using renewable energy in Russia.
Finally Timur Khayrullin the deputy head of the Department of Strategic interaction FGBU REA of Russian Energy Ministry told the audience about the main projects and their Russian companies that are already operating in the markets of South-East Asia.

The business program of the second day included  the meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian delegation led by Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Yuri Sentjurin and the Indonesian delegation led by Adviser Electricity Coordinating Minister for Economy Amy Berdanohari. In his speech, Yuri Sentjurin noted that Indonesia is a strategic partner of Russia in the Asia-Pacific region, the interest of Russian companies in the presence of the markets in Indonesia and that our cooperation will have a positive impact on the strengthening of the economic security to both countries.

The representatives of Russian companies, including ZAO "Rusatom Overseas" Company, "Russian Technologies", Center "ROSSOTRUDNICHESTVO" and many others participated in the meeting. The issues of national policy in the field of Russian energy, development of "energy bridges", the participation of Russian companies in promising oil, gas, electricity and infrastructure projects in the Republic of Indonesia were on the agenda.

The second part of the day was devoted to the work of the open section "Russia's participation in the plans realization for electricity development in Indonesia," which was held by Deputy Head of the Department of Strategic interaction FGBU REA of Energy in Russia Timur Khayrullin. Indonesian companies participated in the section, such as PenConsulting, Intelcom, Russian experts of the state companies and business representatives. Participants got acquainted with the reports of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, JSC "Rossetti", the Agency gasification and infrastructure development of the Sakhalin area, OAO "Power Machines", YUMEK Group.

The issues of export potential, promising projects and developments of Russian manufacturers and their introduction in Indonesia and the Asia Pacific region were discussed. The event was covered by the representatives of the Indonesian press.
